I think I can reply on behalf of P4S (as he's currently somewhere off the coast of Haiti). It's been sitting in his garage for a few months now and will likely be there for a few weeks yet. We've had a pretty mild winter this year, but I'm not sure P4S will agree that we're out of the woods yet.

Jr is correct. Cache is currently 'cached' in my garage.
Will re-deploy as soon as possible in the spring.

Well Jr, while you were 'contributing' to the forum, I was out riding.

I thought it would be nice to try someplace other than the west-country for a change, so here's the new spot:

These coordinates are for where the bike is parked. The cache is in the pile of rubble behind.

And with a bit of 'cover-up':

There was a 'biker friendly' restaurant in the town nearby (Myrnam) called the Edsel Grill , but it was closed when I rolled through so I can't vouch for the fare. Maybe the next person to grab the cache can sample and review.

    Cheers,

    P4S

I'd love to go grab this ... but I just cannot get the time to plan a trip that far. Someone grab it and bring it back West again?

With all the beautiful riding weather in the past few weeks, I can't believe nobody has grabbed this.
I'm telling you, the Edsel Grill is worth the ride! (Actually, I'm guessing ... it was closed when I was there).

The cache has been retrieved. Haven't seen this thing since 2008, so I figured it was time to get on it.

Went for a bit of a ride first, but ended up at this place, just South of where the cache was.

Everything was going along just fine. Picked up the cache and was heading West just outside of
Myrnam behind a RAM 1500. Suddenly, a girl's head appeared on the passenger side and shortly
after this came out the window:

I heard a muffled "whoof" sound, then the bike got really loud, dropped nearly all power
and was running like shit. Stopped at the next intersection to figure out what was up.

Every time I revved up the engine, the left-side rubber throttle body runner would collapse so
I figured I knew where the dishcloth had gotten itself to. That knarly thing had got sucked down the
snorkel, pushed the air filter back into the airbox and was just barely visible down the left
throttle body runner. Took nearly an hour of screwing around to get the thing out of there.

No, I have no idea what the girl was up to before she threw the cloth out the window.

    Ditto. Closed today too.

The cache will be relocated soon.

I'm planning to head out this week for a ride but have no set destination. Is this thing planted somewhere? I may make it my goal, if it's stashed, and I've got a nice spot to relocate it to as well. Thanks!

The cache has a new home as of today.

I was at the Rocky Mountain GS Challenge over the weekend and brought the cache along with the intent of stashing
it somewhere along Saturday's Black trail ride. Conditions were not suitable for a solo rider on any sort of adventure bike.

    Coords: 52.255341,-115.287332

Find this sign on the North side of 752.

Find the office for the 752 RV campground.

See the flower box on the left? It's not there.
It's to the right of the flower box, under the decking.

The lady in the office knows what's going on with the cache.

Thanks for the info. Started heading up that way today and met up with a buddy and had a change of plans. Ended up heading west for the day instead of north but if the schedule allows it, I may go get it Wednesday, if it's still there.
