I'll have to find something to add to the collection and then find a new location. I'm heading to BC on Wednesday, so not sure if I'll take it with me and stash it somewhere along the Icefields Parkway, or more likely wait until I get back next week.

    So here's the new location:

Just to the right of the CT133 you'll see a white sign in the trees:

Look behind and to the right of the right hand post, behind the spruce tree:

I put the cache in a hollow in the ground and placed a rock on top of it:

    Here's the GPS location:

It is possible to get to this location on asphalt if you approach from the west or south east otherwise it's gravel.

I told the ladies who work in the building in the background about the cache.

    Have fun!

Short Stuff and I were down to Rocky for our niece's wedding. We thought she was pushing the season with an outside ceremony this late in September!. I couldn't believe the weather. On Saturday we saw 26+ at 5pm. I hope this weather continues for a while yet.

The cache is located at the modern day version of this fort.

    you're getting close now

    see the big rock??

Here's the co-ordinates. The staff is aware of the cache and it's location. They were quite excited and insisted I take a couple of Belt Drive Betty's "little black book".

In case you don't have a GPS, here what the building looks like.

    Have fun, grump

What a small world, two stashes ago it was Rocky DS (09-03-2012). Hey Rocky... recognize this bike?:

If somebody doesn't grab this stash before the first two weeks in July, I'll be getting it. grumpybear dropped it in a place that I'm well familiar with and will be passing thru.

This is right up my alley. I love geocaches, perfect way to blend adventure touring with treasure hunting!

Was hoping to see it further south for a grab. Most of my riding and caching is in the mountains. Even work kept me south this year. Still lots of time left this year.

Is this still chillin' up near Bonnyville?

The poor chamber of commerce staff were so excited, and no one ever showed up!

No longer at the Shaw House. People had picked through the plastic box and pilfered items of interest to them, the flash drive was gone along with some of the other small items. Yup, the staff was really excited about getting the geo cache, they didn't know what a geo cache was but they were excited about it. Did you stop in to retrieve it?

I thought the best thing to do was get it out it's hiding spot before there was nothing left so I passed it on to Scratch with ADS last fall ( I think). It is back in Edm but not sure of it's status now.
