    +1 for the Garmin 60csx. Get the Garmin topo maps too! Self routing, altimeter, waterproof, long battery life, good visibility in bright light. Lots to like!!!

    Yep, same here. Best all round gadget out there, tough as nails, more brains than I have, excellent battery life (replaceable AA's, not internal), powers off the bike, holds 4 mapsets, a real gem. Nothing else really comes close IMHO.

    I got mine for around $600 including the Garmin topo maps which retail for about $200 by themselves (get these because they are superior to most others on the market and are built to work with these units) and a RAM mount to safely mount it on the handlebars.

    HTC HD2..... i can run car type gps software like co-pilot OR i can run oziexplorer with my own toppo maps and have no wpt, route or track log restrictions. Also keeps better signal and keeps a better track log than any of the garmins i've owned in the past.

    and its a phone, mp3 player, fm radio, 5mp camera... etc. etc.
    and nice big screen (bigger than iphone)

    I'm waiting for the 62 series (possibly the st) to come out, finally getting rid of the Zumo550, maybe next year or so.

    You may care to do some research before you shell out for a 62. They use the delicate mini-usb for external power, fine in a car I suppose, but pretty useless on a bike. That's a deal-breaker for many folks straight off. The 60 has the round rubber plug, basically indestructable and a good weather seal.

    And load it with the Free maps from Open Street Maps (OSM).

    I reckon they're better than the hugely expensive Garmin ones anyway.

    Highly reccomend the 60Csx. Pity about the power connection on the 62 series, I was thinking they would be pretty good!
