I'm going to have to leech off someone else with a more reliable GPS and follow them. I'm 4 days from home and I found out yesterday my phone has trouble reading gpx files. I'm only a few hours away in NY now, planning on staying in Allegany State Park tonight just across the border.
Thanks again for setting all this up.
Bummer. Was looking forward to riding with you again.
Theres a chance that I may be able to head out there saturday afternoon. Will there be riding sunday? I need to follow somebody ,wont have any gps downloads.
Somebody is bound to be up for riding.
See you guys tomorrow evening. May be looking to set up camp and then go run and grab some dinner if anyone is around. Should be there around 5pm.
Looking forward to it!
I'll be sticking around for some riding on Sunday .
If anyone needs to, or wants to, I have the campground reserved until Monday, so you're welcome to stay another night.
I'll second that!!
I'm heading for PA in the morning. Stopping at Barnes Bros KTM to have a quick warranty issue handled on my bike, picking up a set of Klim Badlands Pro gear and heading that way. Hopefully will be there by dinner time.
I hate to be that guy and even just got my new bike wed but some little fuck stain just T-boned me and fucking up my neck and back. I will try to be at the next one.
Bummer, man! Wish you could be there, but don't worry about us. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Oh, and nice KTM :)
That sucks. Hope to catch up with you sometime.

Hey guys. My 77 year old mother was in a serious car wreck evacuating from Florence I guess about 2 weeks ago in SC. I had planned on taking my turn staying with her when she got out of the hospital in a week or so.... Well she called me at 4:00am having a bit of an emotional breakdown and asked me to come now... Duty calls... Ugh sorry to bail out so late.
Best of luck to her.
We hope a fast recovery for her. We'll see you on the next one.
A word of caution to any who downloaded Lippy"s GPS files. When I imported them into Garmin Basecamp they came in as routes, not tracks.
If you don't create tracks from those routes in Basecamp, and only import them into your GPS as tracks, you will not be happy.
Because if they are imported as routes into your GPS, they will be likely corrupted.
Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Hoping she has a speedy recovery.
Up n' attum. Couldn't wait to get this weekend started. I'm nearly there, just stopped for a coffee. Going to start getting signs up.
At least the bike was packed up and ready to go. Pulled out the camping gear and added more clothes. Still plan on doing some ADV day trips around the SC while I'm there. I still have to go to stop in PA on my way this morning to have the warranty work done on my bike. If anyone sees a white KTM 1290 heading east towards Pittsburgh... Give a wave and I'll catch y'all next time
That pic has fun written all over it.
