Yeah if you read my entire thread you'll see that this bike is actually a 2005 ATK450XC with associated fixes all completed.

I did read the whole thread, :thumb
It didn't change what I said, its still an 8500 RPM engine. Run it like a YZ450 and your going to be shopping for an engine.
Use its torque and it will last a long time, I wasn't belittling your bike at all.

This bike is now for sale in classifieds.

This is an ATK 450XC with all the updates from the ATK factory, or essentially the C440. It is however 450ccs. Since purchasing it I updated it to the silver Cannondale plastics with custom stickers. And just today threw in a new Yuasa YTZ7S battery. This has been my summer project bike but it's time to make room in the garage. The list of items on this build-up includes but is not limited to: (most items listed are nearly new, added within the last few months. I've done a total of 100 miles since adding these parts.)
    Redline engine and tranny oil.
Includes blue ATK plastics, competition muffler (current muffler has spark arrestor).
    New plastics all around.
Magnetic tranny and engine drain bolts.
Guts Racing "Comfort Foam" and N-Style gripper seat.
New fork seals and oil with Seal Savers.
    Aftermarket Acerbis hi-flow numer plate.
Acerbis handguards and fat bar clamps.
Pro Taper handlebar w/ new grips.
Nashbar bicycle computer: average speed, distance, odometer, time...etc.
    Zeta front brakeline clamp.
Pit Posse anodized front brake mc cover.
Pit Posse anodized front brake mount rotating bar clamp.
    Motio Pro fork bleeder valves.
    Custom blue radiator hoses.
    New chain and sprocket.
    Tires are nearly new.
    Trimmed side panels.
    Ohlins suspension front and rear.
    Tank burb tube mod done.

This is as new as a used bike can get. Located in northern Utah.

Fun thread. I just picked up a e440 myself. Thinking of having ATK go through the engine.. maybe I'll post a new thread for the build.
