Yeah... Why are you riding my wife's bike?
Where I start some days, notice the bike parked on the sidewalk for all to see:
Vs. where I end some days, alone and picking up by bike numerous times:
I like to think the 800 is a girl that can do both. I had never actually heard of the Starbucks thing (most posers in Canada group at Tim Hortons) until someone in New Hampshire stopped me and asked if I was going to Starbucks when I was fully loaded on a trip out east. He had to explain what he meant when I just deadpanned answered "No, but is there one around? I could use a coffee"
I prefer Timmy’s!
When we stop for coffee we go to WaWa... park in the back away from all the idiots and talk to the real people (Truck Drivers and Farmers) who stop and ask about our bikes.
We've got ourselves into a mess in the U.S. because we're all busy judging each other without knowing the first thing about each other.
All humans, all riders, all just trying to make it in the world. I've never not gotten along with someone who rides on 2 or 3 wheels. always a story to tell and be told from a past adventure. Even the guys who can't ride anymore are still riders at the core.
This and the comment that sparked it are the best things I've read all morning. Maybe all week. Honestly, I don't care what anyone does with their motorcycle as long as it makes them happy, which is what the damn things are for.
