One final one from good old reliable Haxif.
'Not what you might consider to be ideal custom material: I think this is the first time a major custom workshop has taken a grinder to BMW’s sport-tourer. But against all odds, Cafe Racer Dreams have made it work.'
    No they didn't :rofl

At least they didn't waste decent tires on any of them.

    Nope. I have 0 musical talent .
But , on my first visit to Oregon , the first night in the state I camped by the John Day River in Spray. The second night I got a room in Hood River and a couple of doors away was a group of folks from Portland . One of them came over to check the bike and we all got acquainted. They were all in costume , it was Halloween , slipped my notice. They were all friends of the band and the band was playing a gig , so I went.

It's not a Supermono engine, not by a longshot. It's an ordinary production 749 engine with the rear cylinder removed. Note the blank-off plate in the image below.

Just found this thread. It was tough and I had to look away several times but I finally made my way through it.:photog
I think this public service announcement pretty much sums up the problem and the carnage that has been going on for far too long.

Yes, some truly heinous crimes are committed, I give thanks for your shed thread, clever builds that weigh originality and uniqueness with a healthy dose of design balance.
Some details can be cool, but so many have no homogenous design brief, and worse end up unrideable rubbish.

We can only hope those spindly little ’frame’ downtubes snap off and give old mate what he deserves. And set that engine free.

Guy Martin said that the only thing that was ‘unbelievable’, was a man eating his own head. I’m not so sure...
