Y'know, none of our opinions here are of any importance or consequence whatsoever. We're just a bunch of people passing the time. There's a variety of opinions and viewpoints here and that's a good thing. But really none of it matters one little bit.

Sadly no pics, but I did win a ‘ratbike award’ in ‘87 on an ‘85 k100rs, it wasn’t pretty but it was extremely functional, it probably didn’t hurt that I only dropped it once on muddy bog holes on the way in!

There is room for everyone in this hobby.
Thank you for your interesting take on this.
We may not agree, but that is OK.

It isn't my money, or life, but I can still make fun of it. The problem is some of those abominations are not engineered too soundly. Factories do a lot of RD and many of these are just cobbled together based on what someone thinks looks cool. It may work and it may not.

Someone may very well buy one thinking it's cool, only to find out seconds before it gets wrapped around a tree that it isn't. And it isn't just their life on the line if they are out on public roads. You want to amuse your friends on your estate, fine with me.

It's always amusing to me how butthurt some people get over how some other people spend their money on their own vehicles. lol

The mufflers and exhaust pipes were a smidge more free flowing than the twin sausage later models. This from an older mechanic at the local Honda shop. Said if you can find the older exhausts and keep them in good shape they're worth more for stock performance.

So is there a thread for making a Fugly bike even more fugly?

Start with the Johammer, is it possible to make it even more fugly?

I think the big ruckus is firmly in the lead for the ugliest Honda.

I think the Ruckus is a thing of beauty, it´s so far past just common or garden ugly that it is a type of inspired styling genius in it´s own right. I could imagine laughing my ass off riding that around town. I imagine the 114mpg would be pretty handy for an errand runner as well.

It doesn't hurt that a case of beer and a pizza fit very nicely on the rack.
