Not to change the theme or anything, but we really didn't get much money, since it was just warranty and recall work, plus I had BMW replace his shock just because it was squeaking. Also I actually PM'D Danny and replaced the missing bolt today. Those shocks are known to fail, we can't really be blamed for the OEM parts quality, or can we? Please don't compare me or my shop to someone who can't adjust valves. If anyone else has any issues, perceived or genuine, with BMW of Hollwood, please PM me and I'll be happy to help. Thanks, Ryan.

from Horse Flats on Saturday? I might have a couple of people joining us for the day portion of the ride. They can't make it 'til Saturday morning, what time shall I tell them to show up?

pat, sunday ride is pretty much exploring the big bear trails and trying to stay cool. the ride home will be all dirt, same as the ride up.

    Joel,
Do you think it's better to have the people coming on Sat morning meet a Newcombs rather then Horse-flats? Horse-flats is kinda hard to find (so I hear). That way we can break camp and head to Newcombs for a cup of coffee re-group and head to Wrightwood for breakfast.

DR, my plans are changing. I have to run up to Modesto this weekend which screws up my Saturday. As of this morning, we are not going. If that changes, I'll let you know. For cerveza, there is a Rite Aid and a store about 15 minutes from camp.

this route sounds similar to the "Ride For Kids" route that goes from Lytle Creek to Cleghorn.
if i was on the ride i would lead.

i can hand over the roll chart from that ride if someone wants to bring their roll chart holder.
i'll be on the Friday evening ride Lynx-Pacifico-Newcombs.:beer
