Those Welwitschias [sic, btw.] are incredible things, absolutely unique and unrelated to any of the millions of different plants. Check this out:

Fantastic ride report, incredible pictures! There is some front page material to be found among the last desert&bike shots on page 8!

    MetalJockey... You are a very cruel and evil person using teasers!<?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><v:shapetype id=_x0000_t75 stroked="f" filled="f" path="m@4@5l@4@11@9@11@9@5xe" o:preferrelative="t" o:spt="75" coordsize="21600,21600"> :huh <v:stroke joinstyle="miter"></v:stroke><v:formulas><v:f eqn="if lineDrawn pixelLineWidth 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 1 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum 0 0 @1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @2 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @3 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @0 0 1"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @6 1 2"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelWidth"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @8 21600 0"></v:f><v:f eqn="prod @7 21600 pixelHeight"></v:f><v:f eqn="sum @10 21600 0"></v:f></v:formulas><v:path o:connecttype="rect" gradientshapeok="t" o:extrusionok="f"></v:path><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" /><o:lock aspectratio="t" v:ext="edit"></o:lock></v:shapetype>You know to us adventure riders you're sitting on gold and yet you chose to tease us. :ddog I've actually gotten some non motorcycling people here at work hooked reading this thread and we are all coming to the same conclusion... you're an evil ass! :kat <o:p></o:p>

Seriously this is one of the best ride reports I've read and it inspires me to be more adventurous in my planning of future trips. Africa is probably not in the cards but <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on">Mexico</st1:country-region> and <st1:place w:st="on">Central America</st1:place> are on the radar.

Fantastic ride report! Thanks for sharing!:clap :clap

There are a lot of photos in the most recent updates that IMO are front page material- but this is the one that gets my vote.

Here I am at work and I just can't seem to pull myself away from the
computer and actually do some work. What is really bad is that I leave
on a flight tomorrow and I will have to wait almost a WEEK to find out
what happens....How can you do this to me!!
BTW this is just a MASTERPIECE of a ride report...
    THANK YOU FOR SHARING:D
