Doesn’t help. “Walmart” and “Amazon “ free winner pop ups come at random.

I’m running Duck Duck Go browser on iOS 12 iPad and it keeps grabbing the browser at random. DDG doesn’t keep cookies or history so that’s not the issue. The issue is a borked site with malware ads allowed on. It.

My iPad is now useless for reading this site. I've tried several things google searches advised. It started last night.

I saw in another thread where they said if they couldn't get a handle on these popups things by Monday that they were gonna pull the ads. Obviously nothing has changed Other than supporters cancelling subscriptions?

Same for me, started this morning but so far only on my iPad.

I have experienced this on other sites in the past, I have no idea if they ever fixed it because I just stopped going there.

Still no issues. The site runs a tick slower blocking ads and my phone battery doesn't last as long.

Just a thought/ test. Go to Dirt Riders website with adblocker turned on and see what happens. Yeah.

I was researching something recently and tried to visit their site. After about a minute the page was still loading and my ablocker was showing almost 300 blocked ads. So left there and started trying to view thumpertalk. Thumpertalk barely lets you view the site without being registered. After getting annoyed there I just left and started a new thread here to discuss the issue. As usual, I get lots of useful, real life feedback on this site. But....this thread.

My Ipad is doing the same thing, only on ADV. I cleared the cookies 2 times and it keeps happening.

For whatever it's worth, I haven't had any ads or pop-ups with my Android/Adnauseum/Firefox equipped phone, nor on my Windows 10/Firefox equipped desktop.

I'd stop blocking ads for websites, if I could be assured that they wouldn't molest my electronics.

I voted "no" but I also gave up on Tapa Talk almost a year ago because of odd behavior (advertising hi-jack-ish) on the devices I had it loaded on.
