Pretty cool. I'll have to weigh all the work versus the cost of a Prutser DRZ swap.
    Thanks.

I love older bikes, ( all mine are shabby wrecks that get ridden and not cleaned,, certainly not worth posting here!),,
but man, those last few photo's are outstanding! Well done guys.

Let's bump this thread up a bit. This is a 1966 Gilera 124FL, which I got in a Morini/Gilera/cash trade about 2013. Quite a rare piece. As with so many of my bikes this one has been sold on, to make room for other ones. DSCN0879.JPG

That looks GREAT. I did a 42 WLA a while back and the front brake was on the left side. I think it is supposed to be on the left but I do see them with the brake on the right so who knows. I guess whatever the original rider wanted. Factory was the left however. :lol3 They are so much fun to ride. :clap The seat should also have three studs on each side to protect the leather from the holster carrying your 45.

Maybe a 41 and North Africa is different but you did a beautiful job.

Here is the one I did and yes I was bad and did not do it in original OD paint scheme.

The oldest one I've ever owned is this 1909 Thor. Like @puffer I've let a lot of vintage bikes go on down the road. My primary interests are in bikes I can actually ride across the country although I've been known to buy anything with two wheels and looking for a home. I've got a soft spot for that kind of thing. Story for the Thor posted here.
