I'll play, here's one from my ride last Saturday morning. I have more pictures, clues, and even a couple good gpx tracks of the route to and from.

Ratitude, looks cool! Can you send me the GPX? I need to test out my new Garmin and enjoy some lovely triple digit temp riding this week

If you're calling triple digit temps lovely you need to loosen your helmet strap... Sorry for the delay but I haven't had time to get the tracks off my phone yet. I should be able to get them to you Thursday. I suppose I can attach them to a PM?

ratitude - Cool looking stone bridge!

viper- At first glance, it looked like someone named Neal had a few too many beers and tried to write his name on your tent while whizzing. Glad it was just bug spray! :lol3

Triple digit temps while riding! I can't say that I miss that. Good to see the thread going again.

    degrey,
Here is one of the gpx files to this bridge. View attachment 324670
Let me know when you grab it and I'll upload the second, possibly more interesting, file.

    Thanks!

I agree we need to keep the thread going one way or another. It's great to see activity from other adv riders here in Wichita. Gives hope that this city isn't totally composed of HD riders and squids :-)

If you see a lava orange BMW F800 with black side cases, that's me! I ride every day in the north east part of town. It takes a long time to get to the office some mornings as the cooler morning temps necessitate motorcycle wanderings on back roads!

It's good to be boss so no one can yell at me for taking two hours to make the 7 mile trip from home to work :-)

Planning a trip down to NW Arkansas and SE Oklahoma in a few weeks. Anyone else got any adventures planned?

Go to Jasper, AR and eat at the Ozark Cafe. Beautiful area to ride and great food at the cafe.

Will do! That's only 7 miles from my first night's campground at Kyle's Landing on the Buffalo.

I'll assume you got the first gpx file. Here's the second. There are some sections of this one that you don't want to run if it is raining or has rained recently and you don't have a fairly aggressive tire. Some of the lesser used roads through the ranch land are mostly dirt with large rocks sticking out and they get to be some slick mud. Of course, that's all part of the fun!

I believe I've passed you on 235 a few times when I've been riding home in the mornings. The box on the back isn't too common on those so I'm pretty sure it was you.
