I don't see a lot of Laverda owners on the forum so just wanted to put a feeler out. I had a deposit on an 750 SF and the owner dicked me over and sold it. So I'm in the market. If you know of any for sale drop me a line.

Ex Laverda Rider here. I rode them for 15 Years. A 1980 Jota and a couple of Modified 750 SF2

This was my last SF, a 73 - Jota wheels and swinging arm

Great Bikes, I had wonderful times on them but it got harder and harder to keep them on the road. Both 750's needed crank rebuilds around 130k, this meant new rods and a hell of a bill.

I have 2, this SF that I bought new in 74 and restored to look like a SFC in 2006

And this RGS that came up for sale a fair distance away, I always wanted a triple and know how fast thy sell so I jumped on it. Both are dynamite bikes as far as I'm concerned

The 750 is great for around town and the 1000 shines on the highway. My 750 was identicle to Robs when purchased new. If you can find one grab it, Wolfgang Haerter in Nakusp BC is the guy to talk to if your serious... he has most of the Laverda parts in the world and has his fingers on the pulse.

As soon as it turns a wheel the value plummets.
Buy it and make the garage into a museum, or use it and have a $10,000 bike, not the $40,000 one you bought.
