Brings back memories of driving my Grandfather's car down the gravel road to our cottage when I was 12 years old only I didn't have to wear a huge helmet. I can just imagine the grins. :D :D

Called in sick today and spent the day working on my bike in the garage getting it ready for an upcoming trip. Why the feck doesn't it have quick release gas tanks and why can't I freaking remember to shut off all three gas shutoffs. WHY!

Quick release fuel lines would make more sense...they're a PITA....that and a seperate lower mounting point for the tanks that isn't tied into a bunch of other stuff! :norton

But hey, what fun would maintanence on a 950 be if things were easily accessible. The wheels come off quickly :D

Dakar version had quick release :thumb

Agreed, I gave up using my crash bars because of this. Without them the maintenance is a lot easier but still a pita

In the end its all worth it as the bike is a league of its own, but there is always room for improvement

Rear tanks have been ordered along with some other bells and whistles :evil

This winter a "real" paint job will take place....the end goal is to have the bike using a paint/decal scheme that will hopefully look very similiar to this

Given the choice I'd take a 690 over a 450, for the type of riding I do the 690 would be so freaking sweet.....until then the 950 will have to fill the void.
