North through the Catskills on Rt 30 - Rt 8, at Ticonderoga cross into Vermont, go east to Smuggler Notch over the hump into Stowe, then south on VT 100, then south on Rt 7 in Ct.. Take you time, explore, poke around the local roads, meet the locals, eat the food and drink the local beer. Due to the holiday finding available lodging and camp sites may present a challenge. Have fun, be safe!

I could spend a solid three, 600 mile days exploring VT.

Smugglers Notch will probably the "busier" area. Lincoln Gap was a nice area. Goshen-Ripton Rd by the Sugar Hill Reservoir was amazing.

VT is great but PA isn't bad, either.
