Anybody been into an F800 transmission?

    Crazy question but, somebody here may be able to answer. Looking around on Ebay, I noticed among F800 parts that the shift drum appears to be aluminum. Can anybody confirm?

    Awesome. Thank you! Maybe you also know about the mating pins on the forks: are those fixed or do they have a spinning roller?

    And since you appear to have one in the package, do these have any problems with wear? I've googled around on this one and on other bikes that appear to have the same. I can't find any evidence that these are less durable than the cast steel / iron designs of old.

    The one pic has about 60000 miles on it, one in my bike has 45000 on it as far as know never had reason to look at shifts fine. Pins are fixed
