We're currently near Tabriz in Iran and will be traveling on to Pakistan and India. Is anybody planning to cross the Dasht-e Lut desert in the coming weeks? Seems like an amazing experience but safety wise we'd rather do it together with other travelers. Same applies for crossing Pakistan in a the convoy, feels a bit more secure with others joining..

We're Dutch, mid-thirties and traveling in a 1996 Toyota Landcruiser. Planning-wise: our Iran visa expires in 28 days, but we might seek an extension. Anybody up for traveling together for a couple of days? Reach out and let us know

When you reach Pakistan you will be given an army escort from Taftan to Quetta and possibly further whether you want one or not so no worries there.
