Not much of an adventure then is it?
We are planning to go over Hancock pass, steep and rocky. I've seen images of the big GS's on top. By-pass is available. You might want to look for Images of the Rainbow trail, loads of data and Images right here in ADVrider.
Some sand in Nevada, but the big GS's have the HP with the right rider.
I'm planning on riding a TE-610, but would go on a KLR, KTM(even a SE), WR, and would pass on a K1200LT(bummer).
It will be an adventure, perhaps bloody, dirty, and at time's, hard. It's worthy of planning, thinking, tinkering, testing and executing a ride to be remembered for a long time.
Yes I have seen LWR. I seen it a couple years ago and that is what has inspired me to start adventure ridimg.
:slurp A buddy of mine and I are planning on hitting the TAT in Tenn in mid July. We want to leave North Fla after the Forth and arrive in Oregon around mid Aug. maybe spend a few extra days in Utah.
Hope to see some of you guys on the trail.
do you know about when you will get to Colorado?
