    Hi
I live in Bkk and I am looking for any Motorcycle clubs in the Lam Lukka Don Muang area. Want to find people who are interested in trips from Bkk away from the traffic. I have been biking for years I have had my current bike for about 9 months now, so far the furthest I have been is out to Nakhon Nayok about 240K round trip. I have also ventured down into the city but that is not very enjoyable.
If you have any info or are interested in a run somewhere let me know.
    Regards
    HH

Hi, I am based in Nonthaburi and have done a couple of solo runs to Kanchanaburi and the North. I am joining the GS Get Together trip in Phu Hin Rong Kra with the Storm Riders this weekend (2 to 4 Oct), and would love to hook up for trips long or short. :D

    Drop me a line...

    Hi Bob, Hi Simon!

I get out and ride pretty much every week / weekend but today's planned day trip to Kanchanaburi was rained out- damn typhoon :rad

Anyway- tons of rides and bike events this month.

October 10th there is a Kawasaki Track day at BRC

October 11th there's Motard racing at BIRA

October 16th I'm going to ride to Khon Kaen and then join the Khon Kaen Riders for a trip up to Udon Thani on the 17th.

Then the ride to Malaysia from Oct 22-27th for MotoGP!

    Awesome!

    Hi Canoli,

Sorry- I don't have any detailed information on the event. It's a regularly scheduled Pro Racing Series event so I think there will be superbikes as well. Sounds like perhaps the Motard races are a new category?

I'll see if I can find out some more info for ya!

in November, a bunch of us Ninja 250 riders and a smaller bikes (135, 150's) are going to the new Kaeng Kracharn track in Petchburi

The gang's been there a couple of times, we book the whole track for a couple of days, some guys camp out on the paddock, we get a pretty good discount for track fee

^ Ha ha! That's a funny picture Bob! Guy on what looks like a Honda Wave or some other scooter flying down the straight! :rofl

I went to Kaeng Krachan for one of the Pirelli Track Days in August and it's a cool track BUT it's important to remember that it's not finished yet. And until it is it's pretty damn dangerous if you come off as there aren't any proper run offs yet.

That first left after the straight that you can see in your picture above is nuts- it's the highest speed turn on the track but if someone comes off there they run straight into a wall of dirt... :eek1

Having said that- it's a fun track as long as you take it easy and don't crash :D

    Ride On!

    But you're right

The runoff area are pretty dangerous

    to non-existent

Last time we had two broken toes on separate occasion with guys lowsiding and sliding into gravel, but most of the guys are ATGATT, even on smaller mopeds, which is a strange sight in Thailand

Hi guys, I have been to Chiang Mai 3 times and have seen some really cool scooter races on TV. These guys rock. Maybe when I go back in March I will look you guys up for a ride!!

I have done the Mae Hong son loop twice, once on a 650r Kawi from POP Motorcycle rental, and another thru the mountains on an off road tour. There the runoff for the trail was a 200 foot drop !!! yikes jeje lotsa fun....

Wow Bob! Those are great pictures! Such a funny mix to see Khun Channarong on the mighty Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R mixing it up with Honda CBR 150's and scooters! :rofl

Will you go to the Kawasaki races at BRC this Saturday? Hope to see you there!

    Happy Trails,

    Tony

    Cheers Bob,

Are you riding your Ninja at the Honda school?

I'm doing a crazy ~1000km day trip loop from Bangkok to Lom Sak and back on Sunday. Should be fun!

    Catch you later!
