If that is crown land it is currently closed. You might be fine or you might not be. As long as you are aware.

Yeah sorry to be the bearer of bad news bit we have to know this stuff as we live year round in our RV. We are that rare species of bird called Canadian snowbirds.

WHen I was there last about 5 groups setup and camping. I am guessing that the police/MNR are not to concerned about it. I'll take my chances :)

I would hope they have other things to do. I hope the weather is better than today.

I'm either on an fg800 orange and black (KTM irony ) or a 2003 anniversary edition Harley Softtail.

Today I'm actually bringing my Harley up to my place in Tichbourne from Oshawa. It'll be a beauty ride. Then looking forward to Friday for the weather.

No Buddy, I loved that pig, but alas, age has made me slow down and ease up a bit... FG800 and a Harley nowadays.

    Hows everything on your end?

I know the old feeling, riding an Africa Twin or a BMW RT now.

An RT? Did I see you today on County Road 10? I was on the Cavalcade Couch.

I was out, but not that direction, went west to feed my kid lunch in Trenton.

Was up in the Depot lakes today, love that area when it's raining. That was on the Africa Twin though, not the RT.

I think we're going to hit Desert lake rd and Crow lake road today from Cobourg. My wife has her own bike and I'm hoping we can find a pit stop for her near #7 and #38 somewhere. If not, some of you know full well the storm I'm in for.

Bring some baby-wipes non scented, and a travel pack of tissues.
I'd offer a pit stop, but I'm not really close to where you're going.

As long as nobody has to eat anybody else, it's just an adventure.

Any trials riders in the area? I'm just putting around on an old ty250 on my own property near tamworth. Got some nice sections cleared. 20200322_084223.jpg

I used to ride trials a long time ago when the Thousand Island Motorcycle Club was still running. I rode a little honda TL 125. A buddy brought his Gas Gas to the desert were we camp in the winter. Fun bike.

We actually found " services" quite easily. Encountered a few groups but it was fairly quiet otherwise. A very enjoyable day.

Good to hear - today is looking like a really great day for a good long ride.
I've been zipping around on my old CB500, still waiting for the new T7 to arrive.
