Thanks man - that's after a lot of restoration. Sure is a fun motorbike to ride, and way more capable than many would give credit.
I've got a '74 in orange that's been off and on the workstand, they sure can suck a lot of money out of your wallet if you're not careful.
Still needs new tires, tubes, rim strips and spokes - have to wait until I sell one of the twins before I can spend any more money on it.

Got a guy coming from Toronto on Saturday to look at the scrambler - if it sells, I'll have money for parts!

The 360 hasn't had any interest, I must have overspent restoring this one.

North of Gan last week - did a really nice loop through Seeley's Bay, Burnt Hills, Jones Falls, Lyndhurst, Charleston Lake and back to Prescott:

So I ran my first decent run of the Strom on some beauty back roads north of Moscow and it was the most fun I've had on 2 wheels in a while! It was a great route given to me by a local Vet rider.

There's a metric shit-ton of fun stuff in the area for a Strom.

Just want to say how much we appreciated the fact that 'Rob Q' (Robert Quinn) stopped by as we were trying to find the exact location of a puncture on my wife's rear tyre this p.m. in the area of Tamworth and Parham in the sun at 30 degrees C. Too many simply drove by, not that we needed them, but in general one should stop and ask if everything is fine when people are in a "kit explosion" on the side of the road at grid 123456. Rob and his girl friend saw us working on the bike and took the time to stop, assist and chat with us. We were on the last 250 km of a two week trip in the province that took us to a lot of beautiful roads (e.g. Timmins, Foyelet, 129 Thessalon to Chapleau, Manitoulin, Killarney and several other locations) camping in provincial parks during this Covid-19 pandemic that somewhat restricted our ability to travel.

So, Rob, your outside the box technique worked fine and the plugs did their job and we made it home. As a retired military, I always appreciate when I get this kind of "buddy system", the "we don't leave anyone behind" feeling. Rob displayed this kind of outstanding attitude towards other riders this p.m. In true ADV fashion, "we always make it to the bivouac" happened again today. Cheers Rob!

And Drift, we are the couple you ran into at Aerostich a few years ago ! We are still travelling as much as we can. Hope all is good!

In my years of traveling on two wheels I've met alot of nice people on the side of the road. Most times they are just taking a break but I always stop and ask. It's proper biker etiquette. Keep the shiny side up.

Something that seems to have gotten lost mostly today. I think most will claim "but surely they have a cell phone." Too bad as I too have met some interesting people at the side of the road. There was a time when even some of the 1 percenters would stop. But that is mostly in my rearview mirror.

Your welcome! It was a pleasure to be able to help and I'm glad you made it home (not in time for the game though) and look forward to meeting you again on the trails!

Annnd today the other bike (NON-ADV) decided to leave me stranded, when the battery post decided it didn't want to be a part of the whole unit anymore! (1yr old Parts Canada battery)

**EDIT** Parts Canada replaced the battery due to manufacture defect.

Good to hear you made it okay. I live twenty minutes from where you broke down, could have fixed it here had we have known.

    Safe travels.

Flick. Not supposed to happen following the fact that you had just assisted another rider. What happened to good Karma?

Hope all is good. May be able to watch the Habs game tonight. Just ordered a new tyre for her bike.

    Cheers,
