Thanks for the heads up Vikingtazz, good week up north of Perth, Appreciate your advise!
Glad to hear you had a good week of riding!
I just got home from a 300km loop up to Almonte and California Rd, then back down through Prestonvale and backroads to Smiths Falls and home.
My father borrowed my trusty old XR650 and had a good time exploring the gravel and dirt backways.
I don’t live in Kingston but have a cottage up near Kaladar. Have my DRZ up there and have started exploring some of the trails. Heading up that way next weekend if anyone is riding.
Before I put them out for a wider audience, I thought I'd give people here a chance first.
I have a pair of barely used Givi Monokey e360N hard clamshell side cases. They are excellent condition with some very minor scuffs (you'd have to be really fussy.....) but otherwise look almost new. The bike and Givi racks have moved on, so I have no more need for them.
All hinges and locks are perfect. $225 for the pair. PM me for pictures.
Here's one of them in use.
I ran the same pair of those cases on three different bikes over the course of 13 years. Really reliable. Like any Givi case, you can get new replacement parts easily and cheaply. Think I replaced a lid tether and the seals once.
Good deal for someone.
Yep if I had a bike that didn't have bags they would be mine.
I recently did some dual-sporting on a New Brunswick island.
She's a fast machine
Off the beaten path and well worth the drive. After a trip to the Lighthouse at Miscou Point we had some great lobster mac and cheese at Deja Bu in Caraquet. I got to use my fractured French.
So.........finally made it. What's that? Fourth time lucky? There for a couple of weeks?
I've had a few days of beauty rides! Road conditions are great, meeting lots of new riders along the way. We setup a Kingston ADV/Dual group on Facebook to get more of us together for some rides, share routes, photos, and stories.
Friday is looking like a great day, I'm definitely taking the day off work to ride.
I took advantage of Friday's great weather for a quick spin over to Haliburton and around. All bikes should come with a torque converter. Gears are so old news .
Kingston content (sort of). My latest video review. This time, the 2016 Honda CB500X
I was near there too. Well, Miscou point anyhow
Stolen Tuesday night between 12.30am and 4.30am
