You bet - thanks tennyis. Who knows when that will be possible but we can keep our fingers crossed.
    Stay well 'till then.

I managed to get out there myself this week. Battersea Rd. road is remarkably free of grit and gravel. Perfect for shaking off the cobwebs.

I bet anyone a dollar that Nick has been out riding the last two days.
Pretty sure it hit 16 yesterday, and 18 today.

Yep stuck in Canada this year and in Ottawa for the winter. Yesterday it was 20 C and in my 69 years I have never seen weather like this. That said looks like it is cooling back down but what a treat.

Ottawa is usually 5 degrees colder than here as I recall, I saw that for there it was a mild one as well.

Yep for sure it broke all the records here by quite a bit. The norm that time is 4C.

So what do the inmates think of our new / extended stay at home order. Can we expect the O.P.P. and local law enforcement to pull us over on our bikes and ask what we're doing? A lot of other forums have quotes from police services saying they're not interested but who's going to get a ticket to set an example?

I was just out for a while and passed many of our fine area police. Not 1 of them looked at me (other than to think "what a cool V-strom" lol), so I believe we're fine. If you're in a big group there may be an issue?!? ‍♂️

A lot of police forces in Ontario have declared they will not do random stops. The OPP only stated "we're still figuring it out".

The OPP in Napanee are doing Ride Checks on secondary roads. A riding buddy just got pulled an hour ago, over on Drive-In Road, and was asked where he was going. "To get groceries", was the reply, and off he went. So now he's on his way home with a loaf of bread in case it happens again.

Good to know. I did a loop out River Road , Abrams Road, Co Rd 9 and Little Creek Street without incident but didn't see any OPP.

I had the DR out in north end of Northumberland county. Passed 2 cruisers ,OPP, nothing. We may have to get a road map together and pinpoint enforcement even though most services stated that there wouldn't be any.
