I need some help from someone w/ an 03 Adventure. I need to see if your seat will fit my bike, a 99. I am in the Pomona area but will travel.

I got some pics from Boejangles and it looks like it is not gonna fit. The biggest diff I see is that the area were the seat is bolted to the frame on a 99 is raised all the way to the back, on a 03 it has a cut out from the nut back. From the rear of the seat, on a 99, to the center of the nut is 8.5 and on a 03 its 9.5 inches. The 99 is also narrower than the 03 seat. (*^&#%#

I concur with this. I think in 2001 they made some big changes in the rear subframe which affected how the seat sits. It's been a while, but when I last looked at this I concluded that there were no aftermarket seat options on a pre-2001 bike - you have to modify the existing seat.
