We'd be "IN" for the new venue. Sure gonna miss the old one but we understand and support your idea. Thank you so much for all the years of letting us overpopulate your place.

I will see about tossing in a decent sized Gen Set to power the waffle maker. Or you could roast them over the fire.

Who cares what the Forest Circus thinks. It can't be a "Mass" Gathering, we're not Catholic!

If I ride the airhead we can just cook them on the cylinders. I keep them well seasoned with 20w50.

    AJ,

I like the idea of the fire dept. dinner or something similar so count me in on this! If not, can the "shelter" be taken over by our group with grills, etc.?

Yeah...good idea...there's no reason we need to do without waffles.
The old Beaterhome actually has a very nice running Onan 4KW generator on board that will run a waffle maker or two (if only 1500 w each)
The shelter is available for use while we're there, no problem. Part of the Day Use Fee. It'll be outta any wind or weather that might happen, and I'm really looking forward to it for early morning woodstove warming fires.

Bring all the firewood you can, if there aren't any "no fires" signs up (none as of yesterday) on the signboard, we are good to go with as many portable firepits as we can fit on that large paved pad. No fires directly on the paved pad please....

I'm not concerned about the FS gathering numbers either really... but I wanted to make it clear to some of those that don't care for ADV crowds and haven't come to past gatherings that there are more private campground spots very nearby that they can stay in away from our crowd, yet still take in some great day-rides.

Unfortunately I missed the last few years due to scheduling conflicts but Im all in this year.. Always a great time AJ.. In fact Cyclops will pickup the 150is Fire Department's trip setup fee for the BBQ to make it happen.

I'd really like to be IN for this but my KLR is still being a KLR and not running currently. On the fence. Also, I really like this new idea. Great concept. Taking over the whole Fucking forest sounds swell. Happily throw down coin for community grub. Hope to see some of you sexy FFs this October!!

You have a month and a half to fix it Roach. You could build an new KLR outta spare Datsun B210 parts by then if you had to.

For most people general maintenance doesn't involve a welder.

It started giving me grief in March. Left me stranded in Olympia. Ran a little longer here and there and now it's been sitting since May waiting for a new battery. I'm scared to buy it one.
