If the weather is good I'm bringing my 9 and 11 year olds, they got a pw80 last week and we have a little 50 scooter too, both of them are just learning and we'll be putting around on easy stuff.

That would be cool, if @sector came, so you could ride over her tent.
The OHV areas are a 20-ish miles from here, might still be closed. So know that it's officially not legal for the little ones to ride OHVs in the forest near camp, but also know that nobody in OUR camp will mind, and it will even add fun for the dogs to chase them. There is an old dirt road heading out the back side of camp that seems ideal to me. Chances of any officials hassling the kids for such hooliganism will likely be slim....to no chance at all... but you never know.....

My perfect non-attendance is going to remain intact as I have to cancel to save every possible available vacation hour for my Baja adventure in March.

I am looking forward to the pics and the stories.

A few years ago we were planning a ride, and someone asked about OHV sticker enforcement, and I posted the following response.

Before the ride was over the count had risen to three.

Fortunately, everyone in attendance had already decided that the stickers were not a bad deal, and were in compliance.

Aw man. I sure would like to ride with everyone again! If I pull the trigger on that Husky 701 I have been eyeballing, I'll be there!

RV camping this month with nothing more to do than ride around or wonder about the AV Rally. To further along the Rally, I added up the responses, a little anyway. Taking the liberty of making some kind of plan and asking for input.

About 50-55 responded in some way, some said in, many did not say if they are riding in or driving. About 10 said they would be driving in and could bring extra food, firewood.

If the weather looks good, many would show up, if it looks like rain, only a few. So if rain, then no planning on cooking for a bunch.

    A likely plan -
Most arriving Friday pm - dinner on your own
    Saturday - breakfast - ride to lunch - return 4 or 5 - dinner about 6.

AJ or someone have a route or routes in mind? Like ride to somewhere for lunch? Barlow trail, Dufor and return? Form small groups and take different routes?

Sunday - breakfast - a shorter ride - pack and leave pm

Assuming good weather, to get better input, I would ask for people to respond again with the following responses-

    1. are you in, ride or drive in, how many in your group
    2. Breakfast Saturday -
yes - I would contribute something or chip in
no - I would do my own (maybe ride to breakfast)
    3. pot luck Saturday
yes - I would bring a dish, salad, chips or the like, or desert, or chip in
no - I would do my own (ride or -)
    4. Breakfast Sunday
yes - I would contribute something or chip in
no - I would do my own

If this is all to much for you and don't want to take the time to commit, I would understand, I guess we could all just show up and hope for the best.

    :stupid

I'll bring the extra cooler of beer that was left at wetfest, and another empty cooler with ice if you don't have room, and the hobo pie makers for all to use, with loaves of white bread and butter for the cooking, fillings are whatever you want to throw in plus I'll bring pizza sauce and pep, chz, and some pie filling for your sweet tooth.

Unless things go pear-shaped and I'm out (not too likely)

Noob in as well. I'm less than a month new to the area coming from the East coast via TAT. I'm in dire need of meeting riders and kicking up some dirt before I lose my mind.

finally got a job + money back into the beat up bike so it should be in good condition. Riding in, will bring whatever I can in my bags.
