I don't really know of local campgrounds or other public sources with water available anywhere near camp, but there's likely somewhere on Hwy26, if somebody can chime in with an idea where.

Edit: I'll be bringing about 13 gallons of water to share with ride-in campers.

I'm soooo ready to be camping....with a campfire....tomorrow night. It's been like a week and a half since WetFest. I'm already overdue.

This could be fun for old timey sakes.
I am truly tempted to load up rHonda and join you. Alas,, I am worse than broke. Better I head down to the farm where I'm safe.

Thanks, that's probably my best bet. I'm planning to fill up a big tank and don't want to haul it too far.

I know you would my dear. And I'd like NOTHING better than to ride with you again.
Besides being broke, I'm not sure if I'm ready yet. I have not thrown rHonda to the ground yet to see if I can make her upright again, damn sure ain't risking any lifting of any kind,,so I better drink responsibly,,at the farm.

Hey, there is a fireplace and an indoor wood fired pizza oven at the farm that BeerSlayer just loves to play with, and a creek to play in,,tractors to run, all kinda good stuff.
Sometime in future,,there will be a gathering there.

Besides that! I can't find my Mulege shotglass,,gotta save up and go get a new one!

You already KNOW I could never resist anything you say,,go ahead and take advantage of my weakness for shining bright eyes and the most beautiful smile I ever saw,,,fine then,be that way!,come and pick my old ass up,,I'll ride on the trailer with the bikes.
Truth is,,I'd like to speak with you about my future,,plans I am fumbling with.
    Don't forget,,if I win a lottery for over 2 1/2 million,,you promised to marry me!:lol3:clap :1drink

So here is my plan, it's coming together. I am going to leave pdx about 7:15 Thursday morning. I am bringing a n00b on a tiger, who will ride out solo Thursday night. Don't worry he knows the price of admission. Looks like my drive time is 2:30 assuming traffic is not bad.

Looking for a late Thursday am ride, or maybe let me know what bar is the stop for Thursday lunch and i can meet there and finish out the day. I need to head out Sat am for the kids soccer game...

Pioneer Womans Grave road has a spring, midway from the 35 junction to the Barlow Road parking lot.... or I'm mixing it up with somewhere else...

DO NOT attempt to go to the spring on old highway with a double axle toy hauler!

    Geez!

Tank up at Govt Camp, Hood river or someplace, just ask when you get there.

I wasn’t sure if I was going to make it or not, but things are coming together and I’m IN! Looking to leave after work on Thursday for a Thursday night arrival. Save me a spot around the fire!

Thanks fer helping her out with water, @sector, he really is right on your path, it'd be an easy stop and much easier that hauling buckets from the spring on the old highway.
So how you gonna eat liver & onions and BACON around the Billy Bob campfire Wednesday night from HOME?
