Funniest moment t riding was when you decided to pull the drain plug for the air filter and at least 3 cups of water ran out. No surprise even the dr didn't want to run right. It still would start though.
Ran a lot better after wringing out the filter.
Good day, glad to hear the bike is back together.
Wonder how Ken's knee is doing though?

I had a great time riding with my friends and the rest of you FF's. You know who you are!
And I didn't get a flat.
If you didn't get a flat, post up!
+1 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no flats here!
I got a fat knee bone though!.
thanks to everyone for being there. I had a wonderful time on my first "dirt" ride since my surgery.
Thank you Hells for being the perfect forest guide and escort. That was a truly good day!
Sector said, "You were having fun before you crashed!"
I told her,,"I was having fun after the crash too, just with pain added!?
It is exactly that perspective you bring to the party, that is why I will ride/hang with you anywhere, until we can't even get out of bed/tent without help.
And I didn't get any flats.
The walk up to the Cloud Cap lodge,, I'm thinking,,shit!, we coulda rode up this trail, I could git around that gate,,and then,,humans walking uphill on the same trail, hmmmm,,that,,,,and they don't want my beautiful old rHonda in their pichers! I did like the fact that there were no screaming children anywhere,,all day!
I didn't know the air box could hold that much water.
Hopefully Ken's Knee is ok, It was a pretty rough dismount when he got pulled into that rut.
Also I didn't get a flat either
Ken's knee is fucked, trust me. He already knows how to attack and get ahead of it from my nearly drunken half hour dissertation on "twisted knee syndrome",,the more I talked about it, the more I remembered.
He'll be fine!, he's a youngster, but after the next time on the same knee,,he'll still be 3 behind me!
If you twist a chicken laig and rip it off the thigh,,cooked of course, then you know that a hinge joint is not made to go sideways, or twist in a rotational fashion.,,Shit!,,now I want a drumstick!
Good times lol]
Great video! Hopefully we'll catch up to you guys at EFR.
Watching @Scott_PDX video, it looks like a rad ride. Anyone have the GPX track they wanna share so us beaters that couldn't make it could go ride it again before the snow flies?
Here is the GPX track of the loop we did on Friday.
I had my GPS with me for the Saturday ride, so I could pull the track off. It is kind of Applejam's route, if he is OK with me sharing it.
Please, please share it all with everyone you know.
If these routes don't tickle your smile-bone,...you're just not alive.
Thanks!! I appreciate the help! I know Mort appreciates all that I do for him and others, but this is a big ugly stick I can't carry all by myself!
Great pic, @OR_Rider ....Now there's a road that's calling for me....
And Scott_PDX's pic of @martinmenace.......reminds me why this FF makes me smile every time I see him
The end of the road in the Dufur City Watershed provides a great view beyond the last Cascade, and a great view of Gizmo, my new best friend.
I got a good view of tblume from these moon rocks.
We saw LOTS of Tigers that were going where Beemers fear to tread....
These ^^^ were from another out-and-back end-of-the-road bad-ass kinda rides. These words are for all those riders that feel they need to always go somewhere all the time, to only ride roads that actually GO somewhere: Well,...we rode a whole lotta good bad roads that went absolutely nowhere. And then..... we had the most wonderful opportunity to ride these nasty roads AGAIN.... in the other direction
More Big Tigers doing stupid shit.
The DR3fiddy and the plated 2-smoke were the only actual appropriate weapons for these bad roads on Thursday. The other four of us monster bikers were completely enjoying inappropriate-ness
We saw homesteader's log barns...
We saw narrow, rocky, twisty fun roads at the Jordan Creek out-and-back.
What an excellent dispersed campspot at the end at the Wilderness edge.
Glorious! Looks like perfect 690 terrain.
Yes, well that's what most think, but there are these BBCMF's who think their 1090's, 990's & 800's are JUST FINE!!
They sure can ride them though! Me, i'm at peace on my wittle 400.
