Note, I didn't mention the food. :deal Nice destination for a day ride though. I'll keep Sweetwaters in mind.:thumb

Back to the AFR. In Bixby on 32 East of 49 there is a gas station / deli with a RR caboose parked out front. That is where we'll stop for a break and to meet up.

    BTW,

Not that there are many who may be interested only has a street bike but, except for maybe a few miles to the campgrounds it's an all pavement ride down, so street bikes are welcome. I'll be riding all gravel all Saturday though. There is no shortage of fine, fine paved roads in the ONF. :ricky

Hey Buzz, are ya coming down as far south as Mountain Home? I'd join up with ya as you get into Arkie land/southern MO. I'll be happy to share some GS ready gravel roads with ya.

Richland Creek is in the Upper Buffalo/Ben Hur wilderness area. I think I've still got some forestry service maps of the area.
I live about 15 miles from Gainseville, If ya want to call me I'll hook up with ya. I can pm my number if you want.
There's some great riding, dirt and pavement all the way to Richland Creek. If you get bored you've pulled over and went to sleep.

I've got an itinerary of a ride plotted out for Sat 4/2. I was wondering, if I post it, maybe you could look it over and give me your opinion of the routes and roads I picked? Maybe recommend some out of the way place to get a good catfish dinner?:ear

    Buzzez,
It looks like I'll have to change my plans about where to meet you. I just started a new job at the local Kawasaki shop and will be working Saturday until 4pm. Maybe I can meet up with you on Saturday night.
