I'm afraid to try to hook up the saddle bag tail lights though. I'd hate to screw something up this close to the AFR. I did manage to put on some decals.

I would kill to be able to get out all weekend for the ride. It is possible that I could get out for a day or two and catch up with you all. I have to see what my schedule looks like as the week progresses. I will be out in KC and Wichita, but may wrap things up by Thurday evening and head back to STL. I will keep you posted, and if nothing else, I can give Mark a call and catch up along the way.

Me, Monty Moore and Kevin Sweet are going to be at the Bixby store by 9AM at the latest and have breakfast and wait for you all to come thru and pick us up. We will be gassed and ready to ride :D

Is that time still OK Buzzez :eek1 We can be there earlier if need be as we are early risers.

If we aren't there---don't wait--we all three have died doing what we love best

    :vardy

And if we have a flat or something---we'll be at the campground that night.

Yepp--the caboose--been there many times. They open at 4:30AM for breakfast.

For all you GPS fans---I have 3 routes done with Mapsource which follow Buzzez's route as posted. 1. from the Diamond restaurant to Bixby 2. Bixby to Richland Creek Campground 3. Saturdays ride.

You will need to have the latest version of Mapsource to use this file. I have a Garmin 276C GPS loaded with Metroguide software (same as City Select--almost) so this won't work with older non-autorouting GPS's.

If anybody wants it---e-mail me at bigdogg@mvn.net

Bigdog, I'm also meeting up with Honz at the caboose in Bixby, so look for him too. He rides a black GS.

Not sure if anyone will be meeting up with me at the Diamonds, but I'll be there at 7:30 AM sharp and will be leaving from Diamonds at 8:00 sharp. That's the window.

Machineman, Lets go man! Maybe you can meet up with Airforce. :nod

Ozarkrider, I'll be calling you from Gainesville mister.

    Lets ride :ricky:ricky:ricky:ricky:ricky:ricky

All you others, stay tuned for the epic ride report. :wave

May you have fun and good weather. I'll be thinking of you while selling motorcycle parts instead of riding motorcycles. At least I can ride to work.

What is that? New wheels? What happened to the King Of The KLR's?

On another note, I won't be making it. I should have told you sooner. Club stuff Saturday and Sunday I will be going to Chadwick. If you're that far west, look for a yellow GS and an orange Tiger.
