again, tire tools would have come in handy!

you could light up the room and keep the block in circuit.

    Dumbasses.

I think they should have at least tested that by licking a finger an placing it across 2 poles of the switch. It could have been a shocking experience.

The tornadoes get a good enough grip on the shingles, I am not going to put a larger airfoil on my roof. :hide

On of my neighbors did go the metal roof route, but it is the old style. I don't care for the aesthetics.
I did look at the new style that mimics shingles, but passed. :jjen

    concrete roof.

pour in place forms, and leave them form there.

    :D

My grandfather ( and his kids) built a house back in the early 1960s, he salvaged Railroad track from the scrap yard where he worked ( Reynolds Aluminum) and used that for beams over the basement, then poured concrete on top - I obviously have no idea how it was formed or done, but ive come across the sections of track with a metal detector and he told me what it was.

that room is QUIET, and dark, and you can easily sleep until 3-6PM down there even with a party happening up stairs, haha.

He is in assisted living now, but my younger Cousin bought the house from him.

Oh yeah, the 5 kids ( including my mother) were tasked with paving the drive way, its about 1/8 mile long up a hill, with a couple of parking and turnouts.
All paved with old bricks from the coke ovens from the plant.

which was a great idea, they are still there today and in good shape.
Except those little clear scorpions really seem to like the spaces under the bricks haha

To keep those previous female acquaintances from getting your cell # and stalking you again. I will give you a buzz to arrange once I have the required paperwork done. Thanks

well that's easy, don't go under the bricks where they hang out. Stay on the top side.
