If I entered the Pegaso, I'd have to wash it first, besides, it's not really that remarkable a ride. Certainly not up to Big Bird standards. :huh

You should never bring anything home that you can't wash off. Barb

You are so correct. I should have started detailing BB whilst stuck in Haines field testing the Stop and Go plug gun and waiting two days for a replacement tire.:cry
Are you bringin' in one of the PD's?

Yep, the '92. The "wash off" statement is what I used to tell Vic when he worked out of town for extended periods of time. Barb

I knew that. Didn't really want to go there. Most times it's tough enough to get the kitchen pass for anything longer than a three day'er.

OBTW... can you clean/detail my bike tomorrow?????? :lol3

Hey Fighter, long time no hear! I have pretty much been hibernating all winter, dreaming of the riding season to come, and I was taken aback to hear the Bird wasn't going to be in the show this year... Glad you changed your mind! Besides, those Cassiar trophies ADD to the character, IMHO... Hopefully I will run into you at the show this weekend!

Unfortunately the green stuff is still a bit thin and has to go to things like food at the moment.. I am keepin' an :patch out for a not-so-expensive and gently used DP that I may be able to stretch the budget around... If not, next year is lookin' much better! Yer D2D ride sounds like a blast and would love to ride with the Gruvers one of these days...

I think this revised schedule will work out better for me, at least as regards making the ride to Inuvik. I will arrive from Seattle (my daughter's graduation) late Sunday night and ride Anchorage-Dawson on Monday to meet up with you all. So I'll be dashing it on both ends. Need to consult with Akrider as this is all new info to me, but I'm assuming he'll want to leave with you on Saturday as I know he really wants to do the Denali part of the ride.

I'll catch up to Ak and you all at the bike show this weekend and puzzle it out. My biggest issue is trying to figure out how much extra gas to carry because of the ridiculously small gas tank on the TransAlp. A full three gallons will still leave me running on fumes if road conditions or our usual speed levels prevail.

Catch you all at the Egan!
