I'm a Buell guy and even I don't know if those XB12's are good apocalypse bikes...

They have some things going for them. Hydraulic lifters never need adjusting. Self adjusting belt drive often lasts 50k miles or longer. But sportbike tires do not mesh well with ANYTHING other than pavement, ugh.

Hey look guys! Someone pointed out that this thread is ridiculous!

OMG, that comment is HILARIOUS....woooohoooohoooo......hold on, hold on....I can't breathe I'm laughing so hard.

What a witty, insightful and ORIGINAL comment.

Good thing this professional comedian finally popped in here to tell us how ridiculous we all are.

Now we can leave this thread and argue about oil or ABS or why Harley sucks.

Yes, the ZA is not an easy concept for those of us who are less evolved to contend with and sometimes they get misdirected and end up on this thread. They just need to be politely shown the exit.

Any "The Walking Dead" fans wanna speculate on Daryl's new bike?

The limited travel USD fork and wide wheel look sportbike to me. The engine looks like a standard inline 4 - but I can't think of any sport bike that wouldn't have a radiator between the forks and engine.

And, I don't see any frame in front of the engine, so it must be a load bearing.

So, is it a stripped down sport bike? Or completely custom?

    Could be.

I'm not seeing the cam chain housing in the middle of the engine on the zombie bike, but now I'm thinking that I'm seeing an oil cooler between the forks.

Could be the FJ engine. But, the FJ frame has downtubes on both sides of the engine - not seeing it in the pic.

I wonder who decided a big displacement inline 4 would be a good zombie apocolypse bike? I'm thinking a 200-300cc thumper would be much better on gas and still have plenty of go to get away from zombies. Plus, you aren't throwing a liter bike over a fence or obstacle like you could with a smaller bike.
