Hopefully if it keeps up a while they'll consider going back to stage II.

Hey Bill, thanks for the hospitality. It was good to see you again and it was a great night BS'ing with you and bigbugberg Pete. Along with your neighbor Pete. I will be back.

Leaving out of there I was watching the people coming off the dirt roads in the area and dragging a boatload of sticky mud. Ran in to rain most of the way home. Fog was heavy coming off the rim on the 260 where I was probably down to 35 mph for a short distance. I couldn't see shit.

Until the next time and thanks again for everything. :thumb

What a storm! Drew and I made it to Strawberry and Brad called and said everything was muddy and rainy. We headed back down the hill and WOW! It rained so hard it told Drew that I couldn't see anything! Man!

Sorry Bill about the outcome and the weather.

    Thank you for Hosting!

Williams to Jerome via Perkinsville. View are better going south.

I can't remember the name but the road from the Prescott area to Seligman is a nice ride (if it's not wet).

Here are a few more suggestions.

Pinal Peak by Globe is a easy and scenic ride.
South side of Mt Lemmon / Reddington road is cool as well.
Mt Graham by Safford is also really nice
The ride to Young is great and take the Hagler Creek (Colcord Road) to the 260

Sorry to all for the bad weather, I'll let you all pick the date for next time!!

Can't wait to get back from next months and most of August's adventure to Alaska so I can pick up with some of you guys and learn much of the state I know exists and have no idea where or how to get there from AJ.

If it's road cruising, I'll bring the K1200GT; if it's more fire trails, sorta easy and not too technical, I'll bring the 1200GS which I bought to make this trip to Ak. instead of ruining the KGT.

I too will be gone till early October but have family in AJ and would like to set up some multi-day big bike trips this fall from the Valley. So keep me in mind. Just getting over some medical issues but should be in good form by then.
