I don't like country music either but sometimes you just understand where your friends mindsets are at by the music they play.

    Ride Monday

Hi all. My friend Ryan and I are going to do a little ride up to Green's Peak tomorrow and if anyone would like to join us we are meeting here https://goo.gl/maps/3GcjAqt29uu at 9:00 AM

I know it is not much notice but better late than never.

Lunch at Greer, the Wallow fire got super close.

The rest of my photos pretty much sucked but they never do justice to the scernary.

Can't wait to do it again!!

Nice! I'm in Heber Overgaard. was checking out the thread here, and remembering the sheep's bridge ride and some of the Pork fest runs. Yes my bike was tow strapped up the hill.
I kind of like the "old and slow" theme too! :lol3

    Fuzzy,

I remember you well. I have been really bad at posting. Most of my rides just involve me and a couple friends just riding the local forest roads that are literally my backyard. This means very little planning so anyone ever wants to do a ride up my way just let me know!!!

Just pick a day and let me know. I love to show people the area. It's no Alaska but still really nice.

Been out of the loop, moving, retiring, taking care of parents. My dad is living with us now.
I picked up a XT250, it's at Dillian's for suspension work. Looking like it'll be a month before I get it back, waiting on Cogent to put the shock together.
I wanted something I could swing a leg over without throwing a hip out of joint :ricky.
Have not found anyone in this area to ride with, most are into side x sides.
Been out on the trails in a Mule Pro side x side, still would rather be on a bike.
Have to see if there is a back way to Vernon, will see about getting up there for a ride when I get the 250 back.

Looks like 163 miles from me to you, says about a 3 hour ride one way. This Sat. I'm riding with another member to Roosevelt lake from Gold Canyon, but the following Sat I could get out of here by 6 and be there by 9am, as long as the weather wasn't going to include rain in your area or mine. I'd come up for the fun of riding, the rain dampens that 6 hour round trip day ride for me.

What's the weather been there for temps during the day? We're still in the 90's here in the valley.

We were in the upper 70's until the storm hit. The high is 67 for today. Like you say we can see how it looks as the day get closer. Look for forward to riding with you.
