What's the ride "schedule"? Start sometime Friday morning, all day Saturday, part of Sunday? Trying to figuring out timing with a friend's flight times.

Do the routes have lunch options along them like previous years?

Yes, all dual sport routes have lunch stops. If you were to choose the knarly routes, then you gotta figure out lunch for yourself. I'd suggest Combs or Turner Bend for Lunch on the knarly routes.

I got out to do some pre-riding a bit ago and had a great day!
    IMG_2455.jpg
The weather has been great since snow-magedon so I decided to take out the big bike.
    IMG_2456.jpg
Not much rain after the snow but the roads were slimy. Not everywhere, just in those tricky corners when you were expecting hard pack clay-like raceway.
    IMG_2457.jpg
Now this is how I like to see a back road!
    IMG_2458.jpg
And I like to stop and visit country churches. Almost all of them. Sometimes I wander the cemeteries too! It sparks thought.
    IMG_2460.jpg
    IMG_2461.jpg
    And yes, Arkansas has elk!
    IMG_2464.jpg
Another bridge shot. I just cannot pass, I gotta stop!

    And another water crossing.
    IMG_2496.jpg

The next day I got the really fun bike out and had a blast getting ready for all you cool cats coming to the Ozarks to ride the Arkansas 500! Oh, and this year I’m giving away some really quality goodies to the rider who post the best ride report after the event. So bring your cameras!

It was raining this past Saturday. So I jumped in the SXS to scout some ridiculous knarly stuff. I did not get many photos but this should set your whistle...

Riders, just to let you know, I sent out a survey last week. Half of you responded, the other half did not. IF you are in the half that did not, please do it by Sunday. If you fail to fill it out by Sunday, I cannot guarantee you a shirt, RV spot with electricity and water, or food for the Thursday early bird dinner. The survey also asks for your emergency contact. If you did not get it, PM me or email me and I will send you the link. I cannot post it here.

We do have more space for tent camping as well as a few RV spots. Get signed up quickly, the cut-off is Sunday because that is when we order the food.

I just completed the first draft of 7 tracks for this ride. Three are from last October since most of you have not ridden them. Each of them has a "hero" section for small bikes. These are all really good tracks that are 98% gravel roads. Good for all Riders. I put in a ride of loops around White Rock Mountain. These loops contain some tough sections (many, many, miles of them in fact) that are not considered a road at all. The Infamous Frog Bayou is open for those ready to handle some really remote riding that is pretty tough. Advanced Intermediate Riders. No big bikes. I hesitate to put some of these sections out there. Please do not ride the Hard Loop 112 track alone! Have at least three riders. If one gets hurt or has a broken bike, a person can stay with the hurt person while the other goes for help. If you plan to do some tough sections please buy a Garmin Inreach, or some kind of GPS tracker. These areas are very remote. No cell service. Extractions of bikes or people would be very expensive, so bring all the things you need to get yourself out of trouble, and your bike. Oh, the tracks. I'll finalize them and send them out by Friday!

This is very promising. In the past years we have been riding in some questionable weather and now we get blessed with warmth!
