Going to make an asphalt run from new mexico to arkansas the later part of this month to ride the roads there. they say the pigtail is a cool stretch. working on a few of my buddies that dont play in the dirt to venture the roads less traveled. Its an ongoing process. If anyone has ridden in Arkansas please chime in.

Are you referring to the Pig Trail aka state hiway 23? If so, that is a cool road on a bike.
Not so much for pulling a fifth wheel tho. some of the curves are 10mph.

Get the AR state motorcycle guide, it is a good and free source. Butler Maps are also very good.

On any warm and sunny day the pigtrail will be clogged with Cruisers, it is a fun road, unless your behind a loud 20MPH rolling roadblock.

there are a TON of roads near by that are equally as nice.

    123, 213, 16, a bit further away , push mountain road,

    places to eat :
Ozone burger barn, Oark Cafe, Catapla Cafe, Low Gap Cafe..

So is it Pig Tail or Pig Trail?

    Sign says Pig Trail.....

We were there today, heading north to south, and finally bailed onto 215. Rt. 23 had been chip sealed, and it started raining the 1st few miles into it. I have always heard of it as a motorcycle destination, so why would the state put gravel all through it? I wish I was better at riding a fully loaded touring rig dirt track style......then it might have been fun.
