We are in Abel Tasman Golden Bay area at the moment heading over to the north Island in about a week, would be great to catch up for lunch and get some tips on spots to see and must do rides in your areas.

So today we headed to Cape Farewell most northerly point of the south island of NZ and the scene of the whale beaching of late over 400 pilot whales beached themselves over the last few days pretty sad really. Why we are talking sad thing ol mudguts saw me riding my old E V Twin the other day and thought he would throw me on something the size of a V 8 well so he threatened it was more tour 3 door hatch truth be known. Ev tried to comfort me by telling not to worry the petrol tank is only really small so even if he takes off hes only going for a few minutes, yeah that gave me some comfort though as you can imagine I wasnt feeling real comfortable.

Well after a few days riding around Queen Charlottes Sound buggalugs and my hotty have us heading over to the north Island, look me and mudguts have come to an agrreement to share Ev its only fair of me and its not big a deal the old codger has the attention span of a sparrow and his love making gives me time to have a toilet break. We dont have long up there a week or two till we have to head back to sell the bike to leave NZ.

Did you take all the steps up to the lighthouse? Great view up there isn't it! Years ago the light was on the island.

Wow, last time I checked in on Bacon he was being held some where and had not moved for ages. I really am glad he is moving again.

I stumbled on an old photo that I had saved off and was reminded of this thread!

Well I had a great ride around New Zealand for a few months and now Im back in Oz but there has been a development, you see I could never shake ol chunky butt to get more than a superficial relationship with my little Polish sweetheart so I lined up with Ev to sneak me away to her girlfriend Kinga whose also from Poland and in a months time Ill be off to South Korea then on to Vladivostok and Mongolia before heading to Poland across Russia. So instead of been shafted from pillar to post I have been literally pushed from Pole to Pole and how delightful it is.
