Sitting here in my warm comfortable office in Florida, some dusty dirty place in BFE on a motorcycle sure looks good.

I rode that road 13 months ago.. It was either on the taxi or the bike. My right foot was too weak from accident in Colombia but I rolled the dice and used my bike.. This route helped me overcome my fear and found the courage to ride offroad again. no regret! :) Thanks for sharing!

Cappadocia Turkey. It looks like a cave, but it was a 1000 year old church that I slept in (with my bike inside), complete with original fresco painting covering the walls. And when I woke up in the morning, there were hundreds of balloons in the air around me. What an experience!

Man I love this story sooo much! This was what got me hooked on your Edventures.

(FYI this was way before Ed became an astronaut)

Norway is certainly one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Just bring a lot of money because it is the most expensive country in the world. A gas station hamburger can cost you $20. And that is if you have any money left after filling up your gas tank. And drive slow, because a traffic ticket will cost you what you can live off of in Thailand for a month. But buy water for $4 a bottle to avoid getting a bladder infection like a did ( and pee blood). Ouch!

No reason to buy wather in bottles in Norway. You can drink from every tap you can find here. Wather is clean in all norway from the tap.
But if you are afraid of the wather next time you visit, you can stop at my place and i can give you beer.:beer

I just couldn't find a open restroom or drinking fountain to fill up my empty bottle. I remember brushing my teeth with a beer that night. And that didnt help my situation. But I would like to go back and see more and of course stop by for that $12 bottle of Aass.

Riding thru Ecuador, I came upon the scene of an accident. A pick up truck had overturned. But it was not just any pick up. It was a taxi. In these countries, people would all pile into the bed of the pick up for basic transportation. And when this truck over turned, all the people flew out. People were concerned that someone might have been trapped under the pick up so we flipped it over. Everyone seemed to be alive fortunately.

Thanks. I was beginning to wonder if anyone was watching them.
I always said I would go back and post videos.
It is really hard to have the time while traveling or find good wifi to upload them
