Ok, now that you all froze at the Sierra Soiree last week end, it is time to announce the real cold ride for the year (ca cold). Who is in for a return trip to camp Schiedeck. We are planning on the first week end of Dec. again. Last year it only hit a wimpy 17 degrees F, lets go for a record.
Last I heard from MotoMike he said he would bring the wood again:clap . You still in for this Mike?

Sounds like a plan (as long as I'm back from the UK then).

Maybe we can cancel the rain on the way up this year. I still have nightmares about crossing that raging torrent running across the road in the dark on the way to the campsite...

Should be no problem, except you will probably get a poser award for not roughing it.

Just look for the smoke and flames. Seriously, It's off of Lockwood valley
Road, west of Frazier Park. Hopefully it won't be burned to the ground come Dec.

yeah, thats right in the fire zone...

is that accessible to us avenue-tour rider types ? I'm potentially in if its hardpack all the way there, but if there's serious mud or sand or deep dust, I'm out. :deal

Youll be fine on the RS - its just a very short section of very easy dirt road.

If it rains like it did last year then the water crossing the road will be interesting..... :evil
