    I'm home. Great weekend,.

The temps were in the low 40's overnight, I guess. A few rain drops, but not enough to make the ground smell wet.

There were just 4 of us on Friday night & 7 more on Saturday night. Nice size group.

A few rain drops on the way home for me & I'm thinking the Arrgh Riders got a few more than that.

    You characters missed out!

    Pics later.

    Home..
You guys who used last minute excuses like "I forgot I had to work".. shoulda come. Weather was great.. we had some good times with good folks. I hit one little shower coming back to Santa Maria, but not worth stopping to add rain gear.
I counted 14 of us at one point.
As usual the Sheideck crew took good care of us at the bar.

I just got home, 4:30, raining like a mutha. but just the last 30 or 40 miles. Parkfield grade was the slickest I have ever seen it. I dropped twice Bubba dropped the new 800 twice, now its brokien in. Tolga dropped once. Don't know what happened to Dadd and Scotchy, too shitty to go back and look. But it was all good. Dog I havn't laughed so hard in a long time. Great seening everyone and those who didn't show, you weren't missed.

I turned around after about 150-200 yards of that slickery stuff. It was looking like it was bound to be just too expensive on an RT. Scotchy had already booked by the time I got back to the pavement.

Good to know I won't have to go back and look for Mongo if we ever get separated.http://s3.amazonaws.com/advrider/Laughing.gif

Thanks to Tony for coming back to check, though.

I believe it was I who shattered the previous record for fewest miles ridden. After my serious night of hard liquor and tall tales, Saturday was mostly a hangover induced blur mixed with multiple naps and nursing of a grade A headache. Upon final inspection, I managed to log a whopping 2.3 miles, most of which was ridding to the gate to get cell phone reception. I did do one hot lap around the campground, it was gnarly.

Tony the bar tender was nice enough to let me play my harmonicas and get plastered in his wonderful and rustic lodge. My camera died on the very first picture, so no real evidence of my self indulgent behavior exists, therefor, it did not happen.

It was a pleasure to hang out with such a diverse group, even if they are prone to telling much exaggerated stories and yelling at the night sky.

Next year, I will ride my motorcycle instead of dragging it. Yup, that's my plan and I'm sticking to it.

Now you guys really suck. I really wish I was there as I'm literally smiling as I write this.

I miss you guys and this is a fun weekend.

Hope to make it to the next one as we're hoping to be back in the CONUS before the next winter sets in here...

The GS is actually sitting in the garage with Stabil in the tank and the battery removed for the winter. :cry Hard to ride in the 8 inches of snow we just got- and it's still coming.
