Profound Clown Moment#3: ---------- What a great post, nicely done!! Oh so true!!
Nice ride, Moses. Great learned philosophy. Thanks.
You're making me hungry
Good summary Moses. You reminded me of something I heard once; at the end of ones life it’s not what you did that you will regret, it’s what you didn’t do.
Safe journey home, your next journey awaits you.
Great reflection. After living/working in China over the past two years, I've learned that you can be happy with a lot less. Unfortunately this will come to an end for me as I was just informed they are shipping me back to Texas. Good thing is I am finally putting a deposit on a bike so that I can pick it up as soon as I land. I know it defeats the purpose of downsizing but in return I will sell one of my cars and probably my house.
Lol, Welcome home cowboy!
Great RR Moses - another fantastic adventure, with new friends & stellar memories, is in the book! Look forward to catching up in person.
Hi Moses. Found your RR. It was nice to meet you.
And i'll definitely will be offended if you even propose me to paying for storage.
I hope next year i will be on my bike when you came and will be able to ride with you to border, even if it will be Belarus border in 100 miles away from Kyiv :)
Lmao, ahhh my good Ukranian friend Melk!
I am forever grateful for our new friendship and all the incredible assistance. If I cannot pay you then I will feed you great meals until you get fat like us Mericans, until.then, see u next year!
Did a summary video of the Spring Roll 2019 trip for the Houston BMW club presentation tonight.
Rough cut and lazy with music; still decent though..
It's abit long, trying to give each country 1 minute of time is alot harder than it looks.
I'll like to do some video logs once I catch a breather..
hey moses, it's all about the content.
awesome RR and vids.
Great RR. Thanks for sharing your travels, humor and thoughts with us.
well done. looking forward to your next adventure.
Near ABQ? Belen per chance?
Bought 5 acre in Tierra Grande ranch in Belen just to park RV for a week or so when Im in route to Alaska.
Dont tell me we are neighbors!! Sweetness...
Stats on the SpringRoll 2019.
I finally figured out why my BMW Nav V / VI GPS wouldn't be detected by Dell Laptop to pull tracks off.
Been racking brain why sometimes it's detected and other times not.. so annoying..
1) Make sure you have a microUSB data cable ( not just a charging cable).. try to use the one that came from Garmin..
2) Make sure you plug into a USB 2.0 port, apparently a known issue with Garmin devices connecting to USB 3.0 ports.
Overview of Tracks w/ some stats on the 3 main Tracks : over 5000 miles in about 25 days..
Included the GPX files in case anyone wants to try it..
Yes sir, we are! at least my property there that I bought back in 1972 makes us neighbors. Mine is also 5 acres on the West side of 47. Still cattle grazing there. Bought it while on honeymoon, my dad had bought a place in Rio Communities (507 Western), he moved there in 73, wife and I would vacation out there every year until he passed.
I really had envisioned us building out there and moving, then reality of no electric that side of the road and job market paying substantially less there than here in the Chicago area pui the brakes on the plans. still have the 5 acres. If you don't mind pming me, what did the 5 acres cost?
That yellow split pea stew look real good. I am impressed. Traveling Morocco solo. How are you getting around with language? I assume you speak some French?
I know one word. Shalom ( Greetings / Peace) , everything else is sign language.. oh and Sukrane ( Thank you).
Learning hello and thank you pretty much has gotten me thru the last 45 countries.
A Language barrier should never be THE barrier to travel thru a foreign land, is my feeling..
Dude! That 's some serious sand for a F800GS.
