Don't forget the trailer spare tires / bearings - you're a long way from repair shops :pope (that comes from personal experience)

How about some highway pegs? Keep your feet dry at the water crossings also

thanks. Slowly but surely my hooves and cankles are improving. Honestly, i miss cutting trail as much as the riding. Once I'm mobile again i plan to lobby hard for MotoMtn to reopen--AND I'd like to see how serious some of the OHV's are about creating some single track. Boggles the mind that OHV's don't cater to this growing segment of the riding population that would gladly pay to ride safe 1-way single track. Market it as the ultimate social distancing sport :evil

I'm just shocked that the USFS and other large track land owners haven't gotten keen to the fact that other states are killing it with tourists who are flocking to areas to ride. I just spent a few days riding around KY and there's a TON of trails to ride, almost everywhere you look. Legal and fun, and the towns appreciate you being there and spending money. Judging from the conditions of the trails and the riding, spending tons of time making sure that the water drains off the trails and maintenance isn't a huge issue. Most of the areas I would guess are maintained by the local clubs and if they get too bad you either suck it up and make it work, or choose another trail.

We must have ridden a hundred miles of trails that are similar to flatlands and charlies creek with no one screaming to close them because they are rutted out, or not maintained.
