Anyone know of an aftermarket swingarm chain slide that preferably doesn't wear out as fast as the oe one or cost as much?

How much are you paying for a slider?
List price is approx $70 but there is a slider kit, my dealer sells them for approx $35.

I snapped the shock on my 1190 today Anyone know where I might get one with having to cough up the $3500 KTM are asking.

    It’s the EDS model.

Anyone seen any being wrecked anywhere.

I read somewhere you might be able to have it rebuilt by Wilbers, but its a send off to them in Germany, wait etc. process.

    How'd you snap it?

I have no idea. Rode from Brisbane to Port Macquarie. Did a bit of dirt on the way down. Not much but was 2 up.

Was raining today so basically droned up the highway.

Got home and rode up over the gutter on my driveway and it let go sending me and they misses sprawling on the footpath.

No indication that anything was wrong.

Not happy but glad it didn’t happen when we doing 110 on Freeway.

I haven’t pulled it out of the bike yet. It was quite a job the drag the bike into the garage, where I was able to get it up on the centre stand.

Will pull it out during the week.

Was it the castings or the shaft?
If it's the shaft, a good suspension guy should be able to see you right.
Not the top bolt is it?
