Good, just what I’m intending to do with my Andy Strapz. Would be nice to go for something snazzy and new like the altrider gear but reckon the Strapz will be just fine. They don’t flap about too much over lumpy terrain?

Gday @DeLewis ....they sit quietly there. I had the same on the DR at Woods Pt ride. Straps go under the seat and some zip ties keep then secure on the pillion pegs..My Andyz are just about worn out..I have 20 ltr jerry liners to strenghten them up.

The roo was in the middle of the road..an old one , he had glazed over eyes and was blind..He wandered over to the bike and sat there.

I'm also going rackless from now on, tossing between Altrider Hemisphere 40L - Mosko Moto Reckless 40L and Giant Loop Coyote 39L.

You all might want to put some grease in your steering head [IMG]

it's surprising how much of a grease shortage there is in the factories :(

Did the steering head and whole back end from new, buggerall grease anywhere. Just cleaned and repacked the whole lot again at 20k. All perfect. :) keep 'em chockas with grease and no water will get in.

Nice!! Could you do me a favour and take a pic of the Rade Garage wings? the bits that go from the screen down the the rad guards? Trying to see how they attach to everything and what they are made of. About to pull the trigger, but want to know how solid it all is. Cannot find any decent pics of that bit. Cheers

I'm chasing a spare screen for my tower, so have emailed Rade if they will sell that to me separately. Will let you know and happy to share the postage, my original order cost me 60 euro in postage.

I have the Oxford Premium Adventures on my 701 and they are terrific. Like these ones:
    https://www.amxsuperstores.com.au/hard-parts/gripslevers/oxford-hot-heated-grips-adventure

I had Heat Demons on my 630, and before that another el cheapo brand I can't recall, and neither come close to the Oxfords. The Heat Demons were better than the el cheapos, but were ineffective on very cold days, whereas the Oxfords generate more than enough heat even on the coldest of days. The controller is also very easy to use on the fly, even when wearing winter gloves. Highly recommended.

Each top section of each fairing is attached to the screen by 3 screws, and both are attached to the main bracket through two side brackets, the rear extremity of each fairing is secured back to the seat using the relocated gromet that previously went into each radiator shroud/sidecover assy, it’s very solid as the seat pin clips firmly into gromet/fairing. Photo to come.
