    Yeah, sorta kinda mostly.
It doesn't know about annoying shit that sorta makes sense at a local level, like the unofficial "local time" at the Border Village on the Nullabor - they work on time half way between SA time and WA time. THAT took a bit of working out.

And does it get it right at Broken Hill, where they run on SA time "because they do more business with Adelaide than Sydney"? I was at the Broken Heel recently, but didn't take any notice of whether the Navi 5 was telling the truth or not.

    Cheers
    Brian

Actually, they were under instructions to choose names based on the local names for areas. Unfortunately, some were slightly cocked up... Eurobodalla is actually a misheard version of European Dollar, Gabo Island is misheard Cape Howe Island. Quite funny!

Many couldn't wait to get out, many others are still sitting on the same bar stool.
I went to Sydney then Talbingo cabra, khancoban, tumbarumba etc. We get around, though some only make it to canberra many make it much further, I have met many cooma people in many parts of the world, shit happens when you talk to others, six degrees and all that..

    Old Indian saying.....

Only a fool would believe that cutting 2 inches off the end of a blanket and sewing it on the other end, will give you a longer blanket....

There was a story about Cape Clear in Vic, it's nowhere near the coast, apparently a bullocky got his team bogged in the creek and wrote a sign saying "Keep Clear", only he couldn't spell that well.

A tradition that has been carried on by truckies, and a lot of their bosses to this very day.
