Starter motors with stop start is not the issue its the battery
Put the wrong battery in and you will keep putting the wrong battery in
Have done two one for suburu and one for a bmw

Batteryworld charged $570 and an indepandant auto lect was $460 for the bmw

Dont believe me get a quote for your make and model of car.

Why does the battery have to be 'special'?

If you don't put enough pressure on the pedal, you'll end up in the back of the car in front!:-)

... so "they" can justify charging in excess of 500 bucks - plus - for the battery...? :1drink

    ergo the phrase: "stop/start" function.

"stop" in the rear fender of the car ahead...
"start" a confrontation with the driver - of the car ahead. :augie

‘Enhanced ‘ so they can supply enough voltage to start when half discharged...sort of a poor mans lithium but not as good.
There’s an idea... fit a fusion lithium :lurk

Bit of history going down this weekend
It’s the 150th anniversary of rail in Goulburn.
1076 was restored here a few years ago...here she is 60yrs ago working the Goulburn yards. Looking forward to seeing these ole girls in action.

The round house came within weeks of demolition by the State Rail Authority in 1986 until a temporary heritage order was placed on it by council...(they do get some things right)

Those in Sydney/ MossVale etc get to travel in style behind the 102yr old 3526 to Gbn and return.

If you own a beemer, and are handy with tech, you can "code" the stop/start off with appropriate software and a WIFI dongle.

It also allows you to remove the legal BS on the screen at start up and other warnings, like seat belts, etc.

Handbrake stops?? Might need a stop light switch on the handbrake.

And the battery, a more expensive battery at that.

The CX5 has an electric hand brake and I can’t see any switch in the bonnet lock like you mentioned in the cx3 so still pressing that button every time you start the car

They is mentioned only once in a cursory read,

"But, you know, the people that come and experience and enjoy and put extra pressure on the places that they visit also should contribute to the management of those places.

    So again, who are "they"?
