I'm with you and @ferals5, I'm swearing my head off at every one for exactly the same reason, drivers driving under the speed limit, get out of the way please you bastards and quickly.

The bridges here are also monitored. If you break down one of the official tow trucks is by shortly to get you out of the way safely. I slow or move for pulled over vehicles. Just seems like the courteous thing to do.

My mate had his f700gs break down while he was visiting from Seattle. He flew home while the bike was fixed and flew back later to pick it up. I collected him from the airport on my bike. He could hear me swearing at drivers (lots of out of towners on a Friday night). His favourite? “Get the fuck out of the way you slow moving cock gobbler!” :lol3

Note our matching suits. Not intentional.

Shirley it's not like a good merican girl to be swearing like that. All the car crash/dash cam films i watch, different words are used.

Isn't spell checker ever so good on a fine day after a few gin and tonics. I have run out of gin.

Note to self - buy gin. Good to go on malaria prevention but.

    And it's knob gobbler.

Did you learn that sort of language in Australia?

I recently did an extended 18,000 km driving trip around Oz with my wife. One day a few weeks into the trip she lost her shit big time. One of her main complaints was the language I used about most other drivers and asked me why I thought every second driver was a cockhead. The answer was simple...... They are cockheads. She did start talking to me again later that day. :lol3

On the Sydney Harbour bridge if you breakdown you stay in what ever lane your in, and the monitors close that lane.

On swearing.. Oz has a long history of it. Unfortunately the older ones have not been recorded so we miss out on the past.

1852 it was noted that, in Melbourne, profane language was too often heard on the
streets. ‘Between drunken bullock-drivers, flash expirees, and half crazed gold diggers’,
opined one commentator, ‘it is scarcely possible for a respectable woman to walk the streets
of Melbourne, either morning, noon, or evening, without having their ears shocked with
the most disgusting and blasphemous expressions’

[p]rofanity oozes from him like music from a barrel organ’

a letter sent home quoted in the an Australian soldier nicely summing up his attitude towards the First World War quoted in the Sydney Morning Herald in 1915: ‘Dear aunt.—This war is a fair cow. Your nephew.’

remember kids, change your ear plugs often, or get an ear infection - your choice, but its more comfortable to use clean ear plugs......

Put your old ear plugs in your jeans before a wash. Dry and .. mine are reusable.
