Express postbag sent Monday early, 09:00. Arrived in brisvegas this morning- 4 days for a previously guaranteed overnight service, but they just bleat "covid" and say it doesn't matter and it's not their fault. The item should have been back in my hands by today.......... These executive management clowns are not employed for their ability to actually do the job.
the next funny Scott Morrison has bluntly told Australia Post CEO Christine Holgate she’s got to go after she spent $12k on Cartier watches for staff members story here
I wondered if those watches actually arrived in the mail to the staff members... or are they still waiting?
If I knew how to contact Scotty, I would send him a link to this thread, so he can see how the general (bike riding) public view Oz Post efficiency. 15 pages of anecdotal “evidence” (Still fuming about paying “Express Post” for a small parcel that took 14 days from Qld to Perth. Fraud !)
Did you know the CEO (who is about to get the Coke and Sarse) gets paid $27,000.00 + per WEEK!!!!! I'll do her job for that much a month!
Don't worry, another will soon sprout up to replace her, + she'll probably get a golden handshake with clauses in contracts etc. None of these high flyers ever leave with the seat out of their skirts/trousers.
While she was sitting there admitting to $12k in fancy Cartier watches for 4 people who are already ludicrously well-paid for just doing their actual job, she was wearing a Bulgari watch valued at over $48,000. What makes these c*nts worth paying so much money? I have yet to ever hear a rational justification for these outrageous salaries. Meanwhile, the same c*nts are on the record wanting volunteers to help deliver mail in their own vehicles, while at the same time backtracking on commitments not to take bonuses during covid. https://www.smh.com.au/politics/fed...e-executives-eye-bonuses-20200901-p55rf7.html
Read about it. "the rich get richer, the poor get the picture, the bombs'll never hit ya, when you're down so low" It's all about a return to feudalism and serfdom, GodS.
I'm normally not a whinger or a critic of things I can't control, but I'm happy for AusPost to cop all the shit anyone is willing to throw at present. Parcel No 1. left Braeside (south east 'burbs of Melb'n) to Bentleigh East (south east 'burbs of Melb'n - sound familiar?) first week of September. It has been to Dandenong South, Newcastle (New South fkn Wales), Melbourne, Melbourne and is now "delayed". Which I think is a euphemism for lost. Parcel No 2. came from Ebay in the USofA and cleared customs a month ago. Since then it appears to have been moving around the countryside but I'm not sure where because the Ebay system reports different checkpoints to the AusPost tracking system. Now Ebay don't have any magical system to track parcels after they pass to local delivery systems - the checkpoints they are reporting is information provided by AusPost. And it's fucking different to what they report in their own tracking system. Totally lacking in any sort of credibility. Formal "query" forms lodged today, we'll see what develops.
Just received a set of ( rather exxy ) Panduit terminal crimpers, all the way from LA, USA. 12 days. An Amazon purchase. And a pair of Knipex wire strippers from Brisbane, arrived at the local Post Office after 5 days.... I must be a popular customer or something
Well burger me! I put in a "Query Form" online with AusPost on Thursday for both of these. This morning (yes, Saturday!) Parcel 1 was delivered to my letterbox! Now to see if I get lucky with Parcel 2....... Cheers Brian
Dont get express post anymore, I've found the difference is usually only 1 day, ie, 5 days instead of 6. Wife had a doctors script sent from the next suburb (5 kms) and took 10 days.
